Watch This Space Walking Tour

Join Watch This Space on a guided urban art tour and explore Otautahi Christchurch through the lens of street art! As one of Aotearoa's most celebrated street art cities, Christchurch's streets are filled with a diverse range of art telling a range of stories and bringing walls to life with a vibrant energy!

Gin & Whiskey Tasting at Curiosity Gin - FULL


Time: 1600-1800 (Start time at 1600 SHARP).
Cost: $25pp. Delegates will be credited $20 off the purchase of any individual bottle purchased. 
Meeting Point: 11 Sandyford Street, Sydenham (20 minute walk from Te Pae). Taxis are available from Cathedral Square. 

Learn direct from these talented distillers how Whisky and Gin are made, see the stills, soak up the smell of the barrel room and finish with a guided tasting. 
Come on in and try the award winning range of Curiosity Gin and Divergence Single Malt NZ Whisky and go home with a bottle of your favourite.

Guided Cycle Tour of Christchurch with Chill

Discover the heart of our revitalised city on a guided cycle tour. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of central Christchurch at a relaxed pace from the comfort of your urban bike as our experienced local guide takes you straight to the best bits. 

Christchurch is the ideal city to explore by bike, with flat elevation and purpose-built cycleways allowing easy access to the natural features and rapidly evolving urban centre we are so proud of. Let us share with you all the local highlights including heritage sites, cultural icons, hospitality hot spots, parks, gardens and more.

This guided cycle tour is an excellent way to become familiar with our inner city. Our passionate local guides will proudly pass on their vast local knowledge ensuring you come away with a whole new understanding of Christchurch, a bunch of recommendations for your visit and a truly memorable experience.

Amiki Walk


Time: 1600-1800

Meeting Point: Outside Tūranga Library, 66 Cathedral Square (behind Te Pae) 
 
Āmiki are local connected storytellers, sharing the gems of Ōtautahi hidden in plain sight. Our whānau team has a passion for sharing both the modern and old stories of Ōtautahi. This inner-city tours on foot will take you on a journey through our central city suburb, deep diving into the rich Māori and European history. From the historical river to the modern laneways, heritage sites, bespoke small enterprises, culinary gastronomy, craft beers and local wine, we will connect you with local people and places and finish at one of our favourite establishments for a liquid refreshment before finishing back at Te Pae.  You will arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend of the newest city on the planet. through sharing kai, manaakitanga and storytelling.

Masterchef Cook-Off


Time: 1600-1800
Cost: $95pp
Meeting Point: Riverside Kitchen, Upstairs at Riverside Markets, 96 Oxford Terrace
 
Join Riverside Kitchen for a Masterchef cook off. You will be greeted with a local gin and an expert will give you the run down on how native botanicals are used to impart delicious flavours into the gin. Then it will be time to get cooking. Each team will be given a recipe and ingredients to make a plate of small bites. When the cooking is done our chefs will judge the plates before announcing the winning team. There will be time to top up the glasses and enjoy the perfectly presented nibbles after the judging is complete.

Beer Tasting with Canterbury Collective

Meeting Point: Canterbury Brews Collective, Riverside Markets, 96 Oxford Terrace (10 minute walk from Te Pae). 
 
Experience some of New Zealand’s finest local craft brews with the Canterbury Brewers Collective at the Riverside Markets. Select four 220ml options yourself, or have the staff select for you.
Includes some snacks and a talk about craft brews in New Zealand and the Canterbury Brewers Collective business.



Avon River Punting & Tram Day-Pass 


Time: 1600-1800
Cost: $50pp
Meeting Point: Punting departs from departs from Antigua Boat Sheds, 2 Cambridge Terrace 
 
Punting on the Avon is Christchurch's iconic river tour and one of the city's most loved attractions.
 Sink back into the seats of your punt, relax and let your thoughts drift away as you travel slowly along the river propelled by a skilled punter in Edwardian attire. Take in the stunning scenery of the Botanic Gardens, get up close to the river's wildlife and listen to the thoughtful commentary from your punter. This eco-friendly attraction is a luxurious way to see the city from a new perspective.
Tram: Our all-day hop-on hop-off tickets allow you to visit the central city sights at your leisure and our friendly and knowledgeable drivers will keep you updated about the latest city changes in their informative live commentaries

Punt ride is 30-minute and is prebooked for a specific time – 4:30pm
1 full Tram loop takes 50 minutes, but ticket can be utilized all day

Yoga
